Madeline Jentsch, Vocalist and Founder

A trained opera and musical theater performer, Madeline has been seen on stages from Astoria, Oregon, to Sant’Angelo in Vado, Italy. In 2018, she was lauded as the “elfin dynamo,” who could “write her ticket in any genre of music,” by the Astoria Times for her portrayal of Susanna in Mozart’s classic, Le Nozze di Figaro. In 2020, and 2021, she was part of the second place winning team of Cincinnati Song Initiative’s "Song Slam!” competition, in which each team of performers had to compose and perform original works. Her outreach work with Cincinnati opera has seen her various talents and character portrayals in roles such as Susanna/Figaro in Il Barbiere di Siviglia, Little Red in Little Red Riding Hood, and The Diva/Director in ROKcincy’s original work, Trip Jones and The Missing Music. She received her Bachelor of Music degree in voice performance in 2016 from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music, and her Master of Music degree in voice performance in 2019 from the same institution. The Link Ensemble has been a culmination of her dedication to music as an act of service, and endeavors to take the group's talents to events around the world. 

Phillip Goist, Cello

A lifelong Cincinnatian, Phillip Goist has been performing professionally around the world for over 15 years. Phillip’s talents extend beyond traditional orchestral limits by providing all genres of music for various events and projects. Career highlights include an exclusive performance at the White House hosted by the Obamas, a principal position in the Grammy-nominated National Orchestral Institute’s 2017 Season, and an appearance on the popular TLC show “Say Yes to The Dress!” Here in Cincinnati, he has particularly enjoyed performing in the Emmy nominated tour of O Holy Night starring Marco Pinuccio, and Music for all Seasons hosted by the Peterloon Foundation. Phillip can be found on IMDb for his solo work on the soundtrack for the feature film, “The Challenger Disaster,” directed by Nathan VonMinden.

David Goist, Violin

David Goist holds Bachelor and Master of Music degrees in Violin Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music - CCM, where he studied with Timothy Lees, former Concertmaster of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, and Won-Bin Yim. During his time at CCM, he was winner of the Clara and Bertha Baur Competition and a finalist in the Violin Concerto Competition.

David is a member of the Dayton Philharmonic and Lexington Philharmonic, and also frequently performs with the Cincinnati, Charleston, and Columbus Symphony Orchestras.

During previous summers, he has been awarded fellowships with music festivals such as the Aspen Music Festival, Sarasota Music Festival, and National Orchestral Institute where he was part of a grammy-nominated recording album.
